How To Make This Crispy Sugar Cookie Dough
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract, and mix until thoroughly combined and creamy.

4. Beat in the salt, baking powder, and corn starch.
5. Beat in the flour in ½ cup increments until a ball of dough forms and starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

6. Chill for 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
Important Recipe Notes

Cooking time depends on how you’re making the cookies. For my stained glass cookies, I baked them for 6-8 minutes. If you’re making regular sugar cookies, cook them for 10-12 minutes. Just keep checking to ensure they don’t burn.
The magic ingredient is… the corn starch! This is was prevents the dough from spreading.
Sift the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients to prevent clumps from forming. This will give you the best cookies possible!
