How To Make Halloween Monster Cake Mix Cookies
Preheat your oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, add the cake mix, oil, and eggs. Stir until combined.

Add the Halloween baking confetti mix and gently fold to combine.
Scoop the dough using the cookie scoop and place them on the baking sheet. Leave at least 2 inches in between the cookies.
Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted to the center of a cookie.

Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately press 2-3 candy eyes on the top of each one. Additional Halloween confetti mix can be added on top if wanted.
Allow the cookies to cool for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Enjoy the cookies while they are warm or wait for them to cool off.
Important Recipe Notes

Use any flavor of cake mix to bake these cookies. This recipe uses a 13.25 oz box of cake mix and 1/3 cup of vegetable oil. If you use a 15.25 oz box, you will need to adjust the recipe to 1/2 cup of vegetable oil.
Make your own Halloween baking confetti using Halloween colored M&Ms and sprinkles. You can get candy eyes in various sizes as well.
Chill the dough for 20-30 minutes if you want cookies that will not spread as much and will be thicker.

These Halloween monster cake mix cookies are soft, colorful, and easy to make! A fun no-fuss treat using cake mix and monster-themed candy eyes.
Ingredients
- 13.25 oz Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Fudge cake mix (do not follow preparations on box)
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Halloween Baking Confetti mix (or you can use a mix of M&M’s and sprinkles)
- 40–60 candy eyes
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir the cake mix, oil, and eggs until combined.
- Add the halloween baking confetti mix and gently fold to combine.
- Scoop the dough using a 1 ½ tablespoon cookie scoop and place them two inches apart on the lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean when inserted in the center of a cookie.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately press 2-3 candy eyes on each one. You can also add more of the halloween confetti mix on top if you’d like.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack to firm up and finish cooling. Or you can enjoy them warm! Enjoy!
